Search & Destroy Radio 7.2 – Keep On Keeping On!

La trasmissione più schizofrenica dell’etere nazionale questa settimana si sdoppia, per una puntata-contenitore ricca di ospiti con una seconda parte dedicata a una monografia sui Redskins.

Al grido SKINEEEZ i bardi dell’inascoltabilità hanno fatto ciò che a tanti sembrava impossibile: costruire una puntata monografica su una band con un solo disco all’attivo! Ripercorriamo insieme la breve ma intensa parabola dei Redskins, gruppo seminale per la cultura skinhead in Europa, prototipo della band militante ed eccellenti fautori di un meltin pot musicale che contamina il punk con il soul e il funk. Ospite in studio David della Banda Bassotti e al telefono, come di consueto il nostro “Santo” Luca Calcagno (InYourEyes Ezine), che pure se non se non riesce a sentirci bene sa farsi sentire alla grande con le sue selezioni!

In apertura, spazio a due interviste telefoniche d’eccezione: Lukino, tra i più quotati DJ della scena rock’n’roll (Summer Jamboree, Festival Beat, Cotton Club di Londra), con le sue selezioni tiki e gli Zene, dal Veneto, con due estratti dal loro primo album omonimo.

Un rollercoaster emotivo di due ore fino all’immancabile svacco finale, da ascoltare come sempre a tutto volume.
